SLUMAP is part of the IDeAMapS Network, an evolving collaboration among “slum” community mappers, government statisticians, spatial data scientists, and others aiming to integrate our methods to map slums routinely and accurately at scale. As headlines continue to characterize LMIC cities and “slums” as looming COVID-19 catastrophes, the Network decided to document practical steps that communities, local governments, and others can take - and are taking - to respond to COVID-19. Below are three simple one-pagers for citizen groups, local governments, and other actors.
