Large-scale forced evictions and demolitions in Mukuru slum, Nairobi

Thousands of people have been made homeless by demolitions in Mukuru, one of Nairobi’s largest ‘slums’. Angela Abascal was in the field recently and she was able to estimate the number of flattened dwellings.
